D-Link WUA-2340 Wireless Disabling Sound?

Hi, I bought a new computer a few days ago, and worked fine with just my wireless mouse installed, but once I installed the WUA-2340, I no longer have audio capabilities. I intalled it on a computer before this, and it actually did something to the harddrive so that it wouldn't even detect the sound card. I'm using a different harddrive now, and it detects the sound card, but it says that there is a problem with my audio devoce. Since this has happened twice in a row only after I installed the D-Link, I am sure that it is the problem. I run Windows XP Pro instead of Windows XP, but I don't see why that would be a problem. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Thanks.

D-Link wireless adapter will not pickup my

you may need to check the access point rang/availability. otherwise change your wireless adaptor. re-installtion of windows also solve your problem.

My d-link WUA-2340 is only running on 54mbps

What router are you using?
Most routers sold until recently have been 802.11b/g (54mbps) routers, it must be 802.11b/g/n to run at 108mbps.
The adapter will self adjust to the older standard if it cannot detect if the faster standard is available.

The adapter doesnt blink, and wireless adapter is not found.

If it doesn't blink:
- try to uninstall it completely
- remove the adapter from the USB port
- install the software again
- leave the WUA-2340 out of the computer's USB port until you have installed the software
- when the installation routine tells you then insert the adapter into the USB port
- you follow the instructions from there.
It should work if you do it that way.

Can not connect to the internet thru a wireles D-link WUA 2340.

Hi Antonio, you need to make sure your routers wireless settings match the settings of the computers wireless adaptor. Both need to be exactly the same.
