Smart lock? do you have a picture of a red hand on instrument panel? With falcons quite common. Turn & hold key @ start posision, Hit dash upwards on left side of steering colum, If start = faulty smart lock module. I don't know if expodition has smart lock but probably does
Hello First of all, you must ahve its original remote control to unlock FPA lock. If you have it, go through the folloing steps. * Hold down Menu button on the remote control, and the Volume Down button on the at the same time for at least 4 seconds. "The set won't say so, but the lock will be released". ** Hold down Zero button on the remote control, and the Volume Down button on the TV. The set won't say so, but the lock will be released. *** Hold down Menu button on the front of the TV and the TV button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds. The set won't say so, but the lock will be released.
TV won't turn on • Press the TV button. Make sure the TV is plugged in.• Check the wall receptacle (or extension cord) to make sure it is "live" by plugging in something else.• Something might be wrong with your remote control. Press the POWER button on the front of the TV. If the TV turns on, check the remote control solutions on page 26.• The front panel controls may be locked (disabled). Use the remote control to unlock the front panel controls by selecting the Lock Fr. Look for a button or sensor which turns the light off or which the door would press when closed.
If you find it hold it down for a minute, then let go this should reset the lock
you say stopped running steering locked up the steering lock is mechanical and has nothing to do with the actually running of the engine so i am presumming that the car was idling stalled on its own and the steering as you tried to restart it locked or the steering won,t turn it won,t if the engine s not running as it is helped by the power steering pump which doesn,t work unless then engines running but if the steering has just locked up then you won,t be able to turn the steering in which case you,ll need a new steering lock not that big a job yates210456
