My children have lost the power cord to my mother's DVD player as well.

I used the dvd player about 3 or 4 times before the battery died and wouldn't charge. I took it back to walmart because it was still under warranty, they had to send it out from Illinois to New York to get "fixed" and it came back with the same problem. I had them send it again and I got about one use out of it. I'd just like to see if there's a place where I can get a replacement battery and charger for it.

Why can't I get the DVD player to work? I have it hooked up to a cable box.

im wondering why you did not connect it to the tv ?? but instead to cable box , does it have a pass thru capability ?? does it need to be off to pass thru ?? as most dvd player don't have a rf output but instead use a hdmi or composite signal output , would it not be easier to connect one of these to a spare input on tv then when u want to use dvd you only need to select the proper input from tvs source button to view the dvd ??

My Toshiba remote control se-r0077 sometimes works to control the DVD player and other times it doesn't. I've tried new batteries and the problem still persist s

One of the best ways to check if an infra-red remote controller is working properly is to look at it using a camera. (a webcam or phone camera will work) The camera will see the infra red radiation as visible light. If the LED lights up (on camera) consistently when buttons are pressed, then it may not be the remote at fault, but rather the receiver in the DVD player. Most of the time though, it IS the remote control at fault, and these are usually easy to get working again.

Couple of things to check are:

1) the battery terminals...
Batteries can leak and corrode the terminals in the battery compartments. Signs of this include rust, green coloured contacts, or a crystalline deposit. If you see any of this then clean the contacts using metal cleaner or some methylated spirit and cue-tips.

2) Broken wires connecting battery terminals to the circuit board...
The soldering in some remotes can be rather poor, and wires can sometimes come loose, especially if a remote has been dropped or bashed about a bit. Unscrew the remote and check everything is connected properly

3) Dirt under the buttons...
This can prevent a button from making contact with the circuit board properly. Unscrew the controller and separate the rubber button pads from the circuit board check for dirt both underneath the pads AND on the metal contacts on the circuit board. Clean as required with methylated spirit and cue-tips and then reassemble.

Hope that helps!

The DVD player on my Bush 32inch television takes in DVD's but just displays 'No Disc' the model number is DLED32165HDDVD Is it something I can fix?

The player has failed, these types of devices are not fixed as the cost to repair is in some cases more than a new one. More than likely you could not get parts for it even if you knew the cause, which is most likely a failed laser light

My factory DVD player will except disc the ejects it

If I understand your rather cryptic post correctly...

This very well could be a Blue-Ray disk loaded into a
non-Blue-Ray capable DVD player. Your car player's capabilities MUST match the disc, otherwise, the disc won't play.

I've run into this very same problem with my home DVD players. Which both are non-Blue-Ray capable, but I was able to verify the Blue-Ray discs on my PC.

DVD player wont eject dicks or play just say's disc error

You need to insert dicks into the DVD player, also, once it ejects the dicks, you should wait 20 minutes or so before attempting to eject more dicks.

Portable DVD PLAYER: I don't get any audio. I'm batteried-up, plugged in, volume high, remote working, picture good -- just no audio. Any suggestions:

Maybe it has a failure in the audio amplifier, if there's no sound even with headphones or the internal speakers, if there's audio only with headphones.
