I formated my desktop HP computer when window installation finished the final step my computer displays TFGHT is missing

If the computer indicates that a critical file is missing you can always go into another computer that has the same operating system and make a copy of that file on a usb stick and then insert that file into the correct place. It is also possible that the cd rom you used to install windows did not properly read part of the install disk. You can try again or use an external cd rom to do the install. The likelihood of 2 different units both missing the same file is very remote, unless the disk is damaged and file cannot be properly read.

Get a copy of "Driverpack Solutions" and run it. It sounds as though you do not have the network drivers installed.

My emachines e350 won`t turn on it alweys says No bootable device--Please restart systam and I do that and it says it again

Check that you have not left a non-bootable CD, diskette, or DVD in the drives of your PC, nor have any USB devices plugged in that the system might be looking to try to boot from.

If the above check is clear, then go into the BIOS settings and check that your internal hard disk drive is set as the first boot device or is ahead of any other disk drives you may have installed.

You cannot connect computers to each other by just using a standard USB cable - it doesn't work that way.

If you still cannot boot from your internal hard drive, then you should consider downloading a copy of Hiren's Boot CD (which is a CD .ISO image) then burn this to a real CD and try booting from that media - you may have to select the CD as a boot device in your BIOS or if you get a boot options menu.

If you can boot the Hiren's CD ok, then your internal hard disk may have failed - you can test this with the DOS Programs of the Hiren's CD by selecting Hard Disk tools then selecting HDAT2 which will try to find any installed hard disks then allow you to test these and repair problems if possible.

My old compaq presario wont read my scan disc

Can you use that port to read any other device? What operating system are you using?Did it work previously?Windows 98 you will have to install drivers.Chances are that old computer has a usb 1.0 so it might not work. However try another device in that port or any usb port on the computer to see if any ports are working.Does your scan disk work on another computer.Have you done a windows update recently.Make sure you try all the above.
Good luck

Lost restore disk, want to install oem windows xp. computer doesnt read disk

I assume you're saying that the pc is not booting from the DVD/CD? If that's the case, you
need to go to the BIOS setup, where you need to change the device boot order. It's now
probably set to start running from the hard drive, reason why your DVD/CD is not booting.
To go to the BIOS setup, press the F2 or delete, or whatever key the first POST messages
instruct you to use to go into SETUP mode. Different BIOS manufacturers use different
keys, so you have to be quick and interrupt the boot process using the correct key. If you
fail to determine what key it is, reboot once again, until you see/read what key does the
job.
Next, once you're into the setup screens, look for one set of options called Boot Options
or Boot Order. Read the instructions to learn what keys to use to change the values.
Ensure that the first device accessed is the CD/DVD drive, then whatever else next, etc.
Once that's done, save your settings following the prompts, load your DVD/CD and reboot
again.
That should read the disc and start the installation.
Good luck!

Acer T-180 hangs at "Verifying DMI Data"

The cause of this problems is a corrupt boot files, Settings for hard disk drive are not correct,Floppy diskette or CD in computer causing issue, Boot devices not set properly, BIOS corrupt or misc. hard disk jumper setting not set properly, Connections loose or disconnected, Bad Hard disk drive or other bad hardware.

Note: Try this first. Check the cable setting of your hard disk in the BIOS. try swithching it to IDE, SATA, RAID. save your seetings and restart your computer.

if problem still exist... Follow this steps..

Step 1: If you have a USB stick with capacity of 4Gb and up or another hard disk... try installing a fresh Operating System in the USB stick or in the extra hard disk that you have.. after you install.. boot to bios and set the Primary boot in the extra hard disk or Removable Device (USB) save your settings and restart.. your computer will start normally booting the windows in your newly installed extra hard disk or USB stick. when you are in the Desktop, now try accessing your old hard disk and copy your files.. after you backup your files to the new installed hard disk. go to step 2.

Step 2: Turn off your computer... uninstalled the newly installed hard disk or USB.. after you uninstalled the hardware.. turn on your computer and reinstall your Operating System again. if the problem still exist go to step 3.

Step 3: if the problem stil exist. i think ther is something wrong with your hard disk.. try installing the OS again in second partitioned of your hard disk.. create first partition, then second partition. then installed your OS in second partition... if the problem still exist and you cannot go to windows desktop.. maybe your hard disk drive is damaged...

Hope I Can Help
