On the front of the tray you should see a small pin hole, get a fine jewelers screwdriver or needle, next push it in until you hear a click, the door should pop open, now pull it out all the way and check for any debris or possible broken belt or slippage under tray. If you can't find anything try a disc to see if it will work, if yes! try the eject button if no! remove disc as outlined and have it checked out.

The low humming sound is the motor that opens and closes the drawer. It is moving, but the movement is not being transferred to the door by a pulley, a belt or a gear, When you open the drawer completely, it should stop. When the drawer is closed completely it continues to run until the disc is in the proper position to play. As long as that motor is running the DVD will not work because the disc is not in the proper position,

My device cant open the disc tray please advise me on what to do

Electronics Corporation sells inexpensive DVD players. The DVD players, however, often exhibit problems due to their manufacture and way that they work, which must be dealt with during the course of the player's life. Knowing what these problems are beforehand can aid in resolving difficulties when using the DVD player. In some cases, it can help eliminate the problem before it can become catastrophic

The disc door is not properly closed if the Disc player display shows an "Open" error message. Check that there are no gaps in the door and use the remote to open the disc door. If it will not open, unplug the Disc player and gently pull out the disc door and then push it in. Plug the Disc player back into the AC socket.

If the DVD has not been inserted properly into the disc tray, a "No Disc" error message will come up on the display. Eject the disc and lightly flick off dust using the edge of a lintless cloth. Inspect the disc for damage. Insert it carefully again into the disc tray and use the remote to close the disc door.

Because the Disk player is inexpensive, the power supply is not of the highest quality. Having a surge protector to plug into the Disc player will help to keep the power supply from being damaged over the course of its lifetime.

Have a nice day

How do i get my sony dvd off lock

Ensure the child lock feature is disabled. Attempt to open the disc tray. If the issue is not resolved, turn off the DVD player. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet for 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet. Attempt to open the disc tray. If the disc tray still does not open, simultaneously press the POWER + STOP + EJECT buttons. If the disc tray still does not open, simultaneously press the DISC1 + STOP + EJECT buttons or the RETURN + ENTER+ POWER buttons. If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required. Disc tray locked on JVC XV-N322

there is a small hole in the front of the tray that will accept a straightened paper-clip. gently insert the clip and the tray should release. if the cd/dvd disc is dislodged from being flat in the tray, it may not come out. you might need to open the cover and manipulate the disc to get it back flat in the tray. a good first test is to see if the disc plays. if it does, it is in the tray correctly and should be easily released with the paper clip. the try might work after you release it.
another possible first try would be to gently push inward on the tray after telling it to release. if there is extra tension on the tray it could cause the mechanism to not release. freeing the tension on the tray could be all that you need to get the 'unlock' to release. (kinda like trying to open a door when someone is pushing it very hard against the lock mechanism. it wont be able to move).
good luck
