Dell Inspiron 1501 plays cds but not dvd's

Your DVD drive may be set to a region code that is not compatible with the DVD disc.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1501. Where is the button or code to set the internal online code. They say on most computers there is a switch on the side or top...not on this model..

There is no Wireless switch for Inspiron 1501. you have to use the Fn key + F2 to turn on and off the wireless switch.

Dell Inspiron 1501 DVD region code locked out region 1 after trying to play a PAL movie. Can this be fixed? Will replacing the drive corect the problem. Thank you, Fred Kraft

you can only change DVD region 4 times and if it was locked need to replace dvd drive

Enable my dell inspiron 1501 bluetooth

I looked over the system configurations for the Inspiron 1501, and it doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities built into it. The 1520 series does, but not the 1501. The only way you're going to be able to add Bluetooth technology is to purchase a Bluetooth usb adapter. Here's a link to the 1501 manuals if you would like to look over them.

You may have to go to Dell Website. http://www.dell.com.au Go to support then in the search type in Fix Code 43. Comes up with approximately 25 solutions, I am fairly sure one will suit you. These are drivers etc to update your system.

On my Dell laptop- inspiron-my microsoft mouse doesnt work nor does my HP plug in keyboard. i get error code 43. i tried taking out the battery and it didn't work- suggestions?
