Can I use UncleBens enriched parboiled long grain rice in my rice cooker?

You can, and it will work very well.

Please remember that cooked rice is a high risk item as far as food safety is concerned. Only cook as much as you need for one meal. If you do have rice left over, cool it quickly and keep it in the fridge. Reheat it quickly to 165'F, and eat it or throw it away. Doing otherwise will give you food poisoning by Bacillus Cereus, a bacteria that produces dangerous toxins, if left in a warm atmosphere.

I am a chef / manager and did my Advanced Food Safety course and exam this last two days :>)

The cooker clicks over to "keep warm" before the

You're probably using too much water. Rice cooks primarily while sitting in hot water, not while its boiling. That's why the cooker switches to Keep Warm so quickly. The correct way to cook rice is to pre-soak the rice for about 30 minutes, drain to get rid of the excess starch, combine the rice and cold water and bring the water to a boil and turn off the heat and let it stand for 15-30 minutes. That's why*- rice cookers take 45 minutes or more.

BOILS OVER

HELLO THERE
I think that you might need to refer to the users manual on the operation of this rice cooker some cookers need to be shut off after a certain time to allow for the steam to cook the rice the rest of the way some may need less water some need more depends on the type of rice that makes a big difference ok?
best regards michael
