Bought 2 Thunder Tumblers but one remote controls both. How do you change the frequency so they work independently for racing? The box says there are 2 frequencies but I don't know how to change it.

The box shouldn't say "two frequencies for competitive racing." That is misleading.

Thunder Tumbler comes in two frequencies-27 MHz and 49 MHz. In the 2015 model, the red and blue cars that I have are both 27 MHz. It designates this on the front of the box. I assume that the black one is 49 MHz.

SOURCE: bought 2 thunder tumblers and

The Red & Blue Versions of this both work on 27MHz while the Black works on 49MHz. You should have been advised of this when purchasing the 2 units but I supose that depends where they were purchased from.

I have two Thunder tumbler remote control cars. How do I change the frequency so they are each on a separate frequency for racing with each other?

The frequency cannot be changed in the cars. The frequency is set, you have to buy two different frequency cars. There are stickers on the cars, and there is also a label on the outside of the box. The frequencies are 27 and 49, we got two 49s, so we ll have to exchange one.

I bought 2 Thunder tumbler radio control rally cars. They don't come with instructions for how to change the frequency so they can race. Any idea how to do this?

Type the thunder tumbler in Fixya's search. This is two way radios. There are a LOT of posts on your RC trucks. If new, I suggest you return them.

I bought 3 fans and all are getting signals from one remote. How do I change each one so they work independently?

You need to change the frequency in two of the receivers & transmitters. That's a low-end store brand for Lowes so I don't know what kind of receiver you have. Usually there are four dip switches in the receiver & transmitter. Just match them.

Most of the store bought RC cars support a few channels and autoselect the channel or they are tied to the controller. Some of the better (hobbist) RC cars have a channel select on the underneath. You could check for that but if these are the 9.99 stocking stuffer specials, you may be out of luck.

We purchased two Barbie corvettes for twins and it seems that one remote controls both cars. Is there a different setting where they can control their own car?

Hi Janet, unfortunately this I'd due to the transmitter frequency being the same! This should have been pointed out to you when purchasing both items together! The packaging should indicate this too! I race remote control cars and on the higher end transmitters the frequency can be changed so all racers are on different frequencies but this would not be the case for you!
