Question about Sewing Machines
I need to kow what to set the pressor foot on for regular stitching. I have a red knob with 6.5-7.7 m and * settings along with 5.5 - 4.7. I have misplaced my book.
Easiest way to get the tensions right, use 4 different coloured threads
Make sure the tension disks are clean........run a length of fabric in a see saw fashion through each tension unit.
....set all the dials to 3 or 4 then sew test.......take a look at what needs attention, make a small adjustment and test/adjust until the needle threads are firm and the looper threads meet neatly at the edge of the fabric with just the absolutely tiniest hint of being loose.
