Hi there again,
I am assuming you are using XP OS.....
I have a couple of questions for you.

Try this.............
With computer on and camera NOT connected,
Please look at my computer,

1.What happens when you connect camera to usb lead then connect the lead to the computers usb port?

2,Would it upset you if we use another way of moving your photo and video files from camera to computer?

3.Does Memory card work in another device or computer?

Solution 1 =================================
If usb did not recongise the camera on the usb port then it will be a software and hardware reinstall ,
Remove usb lead from computer
Go to Add/Remove from you control panel.
Remove the cameras software.reboot.
restart install software first and reboot,
do not connect camera yet,WAIT.
once restarted add camera via usb
should be good to go.....

If it does continue to give you issues then consult the manufactuerer.

Solution 2 =================================
if the usb is connected to the camera via usb lead to usb port on the computer and you can see the cameras' drive info then its more than likely you will be able to open and use this file ,if so you should be able the move these files to your computer too.

Solution 3 =====================================
Explains itself really-Replace it if you need to.

Hope this sorts out your problem.
I beleive your card reader may be poked,
Uninstall and reinstall try again, replace if presists.

these solutions I have put forward have been proven to work in many situations so good luck and let us know the results thanks

Pandigital Photo Frame will not read MMC card

The new card is not compatible with your photo frame. Only thing you can do is to make sure that what you use is compatible. Your manual or website will tell you the largest memory card you can use.

Canon digial camera power shot SD430 says memory card error when switching on after putting new card in.

What type and size memory card? The SD430 works with MMC and SD cards, 2GB and smaller. It will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards even though they will fit into the slot.

What memory card does the canon power shot sd1100 is take

The SD1100 uses MMC, MMC Plus, HC MMC Plus, SD, and SDHC cards. MMC cards are all but extinct, so consider it as using only SD and SDHC cards.

I have a SanDisk SDHC Card class 4 4 gb and it won't work in my Canon Power shot SD630, I get a memory error that says card is locked, however card is not locked, what camera canI use this card in?

The SD630 works with MMC and SD cards, 2GB or smaller. It does not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

Your SDHC card can be used in any camera that accepts SDHC cards.

Bought new Memory cards for Power Shot A530, it won't format

Hi!
I'd guess that the memory card you've bought is a SDHC card and/or a card of more than 2GB, which - unfortunately - is NOT supported by your camera.
Please note that it only supports normal SD or MMC cards in capacity of up to 2GB.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.
If you are satisfied, rate my solution with the "thumbs" or (even better) add a testimonial.

Best regards,
Pelu.

I need help

The card should be an SD/MMC type.

Some easy choices:
1) Buy this little adaptor
http://cgi.ebay.com/SDHC-SD-USB-2-0-Memory-Card-Reader-2GB-4GB-8GB-16GB-/320499613452?cmd=ViewItem&pt=PCC_Drives_Storage_Internal&hash=item4a9f43ff0c

you can pay fixed price of 99c, shipped, or you can bid one one of the auctions starting at $0.01 shipped. (I have bought 5 individually from china, for under $1 IN TOTAL, and all were sent is seperate packages). Just look for a vendor with reasonable feedback. The device autoinstalls drivers in XP (and above).

2) buy the cable
http://cgi.ebay.com/Mini-usb-2-0-B-5PIN-CABLE-MP3-MP4-Camera-phone-/130398828838?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e5c603926
again, 99c fixed price, or from 0.01 at auction.

Hope this helps

Pictures not loading to computer

It sounds like you don't have software on your PC that will recognize the camera when connected. I am going to recommend that you do not use the camera to upload photos. It is better practice to use external (SD) memory cards and remove them from the camera to upload. You can use a USB SD reader or purchase SD cards with a built-in USB interface. You should be able to see a new drive when connecting the SD card to your computer; then all you need to do is copy over the images. One advantage is that you will save camera battery while uploading because you dont need the camera at all. It also allows you to take images with you without taking the camera, i.e. school or work. I hope this helps...californiajones7889e54.jpg67432f4.jpg4db3d64.jpg

"Hub Overload"

If you are using a USB hub then Konica-Minolta has a warning that this problem may occur. If the USB interface is drawing too much power due to a circuit fault then you might try just uploading pictures from the memory card as a workaround. Also MMC cards work differently than SD cards so a card swap is worth trying or using an AV connector instead of a USB connector.
