Take it out and put it back in - the trick is to LEAVE THE FRONT DOOR OPEN after you put it back in. With the door still OPEN push the "options" button and you will be prompted for "New Drum?" and then push the "Up" button for 'Yes' and "Accepted" will appear on the lcd screen - and then the drum counter will be reset. The directions in the book work great - but you have to be careful make sure the door is still open when you push the "options" button...

I am getting error drum change soon even I change drum and toner

You will need to reset the drum counter now. With the front cover open (where the cartridge is installed) press the options button (or clear button if applicable) the press the up arrow for yes when it asks "replace drum?".

Brother DCP 7020 display reads "Drum Error" and instructs me to clean corona wire which I did. I then bought a new drum and still get the same message.

You need to reset after a new drum, open the front door and press menu or options and it will ask if it's a new drum. after that if you still have the error, you may need a new power supply PCB.

How do I reset the drum counter for my Brother DCP 7020 - I just installed a remanufactured drum, and the 'replace drum soon' warning still comes up

Look at your toner cartridge. There is a white stud that is attached to a gear. On a brand new cartridge, this white stud is in the opposite position of the one you currently have. Its been awhile since i've had my hands on one of these - just find a way to manipulate it so that it is in the opposite position again and toner count will reset.

Replaced drum and machine is warning to replace drum soon. Please help

On that one you open the front door and press options, it should ask if it's a new drum and you press 1 for yes and that should reset the drum count. The instructions are packed with the new drum.

Screen still says wants new drum?

If it's similar to the 7020, you remove the toner/drum, put it back in and DON'T CLOSE THE DOOR! When you power up the DCP, it will give you language about resetting the drum.

Your manual will tell you how to step to Machine and read the number of copies and drum percentage menu.
