Depending on the age of the appliance you may well need to replace the carbon brushes on the motor

W/machine not filling with water

Also ...The selector switch allows you to choose the wash, rinse and spin settings. When you set the desired program, it sends a signal to the water inlet valve to open the hot and cold water inlets. If the selector switch is not powered or unable to transfer the signal, your washing machine won't fill with water.

Could well be the Carbon Motor brushes that are worn they last round 5 years hen need replaced..I lie under the machine to do this but you may find it simpler to remove the motor they are located at the side and are secured by two screws, parts cost around £25 per set.....

I have whirlpool awm 5145 the counter turnsbut nothing happens

Check the lid switch. There should be a small pin on the lid that will push the lid switch down when it is closed. There are two wires going to the lid switch, jump these two wires together and if it works then replace the switch.

Unplug the washer before doing any work.

Whirlpool Washing Machine AWM 029 is not draining

Hi.
I assume you have checked to see if the pump is working,
Select drain and spin, if water does not go away, then you have a pump problem, which will stop the programme completing.
Please leave feedback.
Thanks
