Question about HP Color LaserJet 3500 Printer

50.1 Fuser Error

We were trying to print when it indicated there was a paper jam. Following the instructions, it walked us through locating and removing the paper jam (in the very back of the machine, who knew?!) Now we are getting 50.1 Fuser Error. Says the fuser is too hot, but we have had the machine turned off for half an hour. Any ideas?

50.1 error is usually a fuser low temperature error. The thermistor (electronic termometer) that controls high and low temperature is either obstructed, damaged or the heating element inside the fuser has been brokem or damaged. Carefully remove and inspect the fuser. If you have no obstructions then the fuser will have to be replaced.

How do I solve this problem? My hp LJ 4345 printer experiences intermittent paper jam in fuser(accordion-like) with half of the paper out of the fuser. We've replaced the fuser with a new one but the

This error can be caused by the following:

1. Fuser that is close to end of life. Maximum print quantity is 225,000 pages.

2. poor quality paper, very thin paper never feeds well and will jam.

3. Printing an image that is almost entirely black can cause the paper to buckle before entering the fuser.

Try different paper to see if that resolves the problem.

OKI C330dn Call Service fatal Error:980

That particular error indicates a fuser failure. Try turning off the printer and re-seating the fuser. If this does not clear the message then the fuser needs to be replaced. With such a low number of prints warranty should cover it.

Brother 540cn Printer won't print and displays unable to print 50. The photo capture button also flashes

The error code 50 indicates a paper jam condition. Whether there's actually still paper jammed or not, it's sensors are still indicating a jam. Check again for a bit of paper, or there may be a faulty sensor.

I keep getting a paper jam 201 every time I print. Then I have to open it up and take out the cartridge. What is causing the paper to jam?

A 201 paper jam error indicates the paper did not reach the fuser sensor within the proper time period. This usually indicates the fuser has a problem and needs to be replaced. The part number for the fuser is 56P1333 and it is user installable. You can get one from many places online such as Amazon.com

HPLaserjet4P - printer service 50 -

Hi,

A 50 Service error is a fuser error. Turn the printer off for 5 to 10 minutes, then turn it back on. If the error is still there, I think your going to need to make a service call you can try reseating the fuser, but be sure to let the fuser cool completely before touching it.
Good Luck the HP Laserjet 4p is a great printer.
