Same problem with my Blackjack II - I can hear everyone just fine, but no one can hear me. Other than this, the phone is absolutely fine!

Had the same problem.  thought maybe the bluetooth wasn't disconnecting 'cuz i could use headset with no problem.  researched for an hour and found the (stupid) answer.  the microphone is a little tiny hole.  carefully take a little tiny safety pin and clean out that little hole.  be careful not to go to far and cause damage behind it. didn't even look like it had a blockage but...presto...it worked!! people can hear me now !!!

When calling out or receiving a call I can hear the person at the other end of kine but they can not hear me. Any solutions

Make sure that your phone's in call volume is not low or muted. In case it is fine, then the problem is with the microphone and it needs to be replaced. I'd suggest to get it replaced by some authorized person or good mechanic as it will require the dismantling of your phone and if you would do it without the experience, then you might break the cover.

User hears faint static while on a call. It's not load enough to make it hard to hear the caller, but a noticable crackling/static noise can be heard in the background. happens on every call.

Cell phones transmit the sound as digital data. The data when converted back to analog to listen too CAN have "digitizing noise" which will sound like static.

WORSENING the problem is if there is noise in the background of the person sending the voice and the worst possiblle is to have MUSIC in the background. These both drive the CODEC (the analog conversion system) crazy and will create what you describe. The CODEC is designed to transmit ONLY voice.

When people call me, i hear them but they cant hear me? is there anyway of trying to fix this without taking it back to the store. i would say its about 9 months old the phone.

Hi

I would suggest that you reset the phone to factory defaults to see if this resolves the issue.

Touch the icon that has 4 dots then touch the icon that looks like a cog wheel. Under 'Phone Settings' find and touch 'Reset Settings'.

This may resolve the issue. If not remove the battery for one minute then reinsert. If the problem persists after this there is a problem with the internal microphone that will require service attention.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using FixYa.

Motorola Q voice problem

This is a common problem with phones that are designed primarily for games and internet use. The voice part just does not work as well. That said, I have a few suggestions for you. First, if you are using speaker phone switch it off. If you are not using speaker phone switch it on. The speaker button is in the bottom right had corner of the keypad. Second, if you need to go hands-free find a high quality hands-free device. Your cell phone provider will have the best suggestions for you. Thirdly, take the phone in for servicing to make sure it is not a faulty receiver in your phone. Best of luck.

Problem with speaker phone

This is a known issue(my phone does the same), I suggest that you keep the phone close to you self when you use the speaker phone as the phone does not have noise callenation feature on it, due to which it absorbs outside noice also.

Phone rings but when answered the caller can not be heard.

Your ear speaker is bad. You may need to replace it.. This one made by HTC. You can check on Ebay for replacement part. Other issue could be is the hardware part of the ear speaker may be broken or defected will cause loosing contact with the main circuit or you can say it is short. Only solution is open the phone and check for that area to see for any defective.
