Hi-

can you still turn the unit on? Turn it off, remove the battery for a few minutes and reinstall it. then turn it on and try ejecting it.

Hope this help

I have a Sony camcorder CCD-TRV16 that won't eject the tape but it sounds like its trying to. when i turn it on it breefly says Sony Infolithium system and then starts beeping and says C:32:00. how can...

This sounds like a tape mechanism jam and will require disassembly to repair. This can be done fairly inexpensively. However, it's not really a user serviceable problem and should be done by a qualified service technician.

I have a Sony DCR-TRV 340 Digital Camcorder. Self Diagnosis display with code: C:32:11 Followed steps in manual, but still showinng the code. What does the C:32:11 mean?

means its a stuck tape tray or stuck open. But it actually can be one of a few parts on the tape tray. Sony actually wont give out information on this error cause there are so many failures. There are many people however that figured out how to fix this. Its actually a very big problem with sonys and ranges in 300-500$usd to get fixed by sony unless under warranty.
i believe these are the parts that you would need
Here's the part #39;s for mode gear & whole chassis,
Mode gear : X20244611
$4.80
Whole Chassis excluding Drum : A1437006A
$54
Sony Parts: 800-488-7669
and here is a video on someone repairing there sony camera with the same problem.
if you need further assistance i will be here to help you, thank you and good luck.

My panasonic pv gs32 camcorder is stuck and the tape won't pop up. I get a "press reset button" message and when I do this I hear it trying to lift up and out, but it doesn't move at all. Are...

try this:

  1. Open the tape door on the bottom.
  2. LEAVE IT OPEN.
  3. Power off your camcorder and remove the battery.
  4. With the battery removed, move the power switch to ON.
  5. LEAVING THE POWER ON AND THE TAPE DOOR OPEN, replace the battery.
  6. The tape should eject without damage.

Let me know.

JVC GR-D31 camcorder showing "Condensation" warning - no matter what I do. Suspect faulty dew sensor. What can I do?

There are two options here:

1) Eject the unit so that the tape compartment is open and blow air into the camera using a fan. That should reduce any condensation inside that may exist.

2) If the above does not work, the sensor could be bad or the connections onit could be bad. You will need to remove the door to gain access to the mechanism. You should be able to see the sensor inside. It will appear to be like a small grid on the face of the mechanism. Check the connections on it. If they appear to be OK. Call up JVC and order a replacement dew sensor.

If you don't feel comfortable working on camcorders, please seek out an authorized JVC service center.

Sony ccd-trv218e comming up with fault code C:31:23 wheen trying to record or playback tape

This indicates that the drum motor is not spinning. The tape should be ejected by the camera. There are a number of causes for this. This camera should be brought to an authorized sony service center for evaluation/repair.
