Question about Acer PC Laptops
I received this computer for Christmas and the Product Key information keeps popping up. I type in the Product Key number on the bottom of the computer, but when I get to the last digit it will not be accepted. I also tried every digit available to see, just in case. Now it's saying my computer will be inoperable if I do not put in the Product Key. NOT COOL! This computer was purchased from Best Buy. Acer Aspire 7720
Hmm, it's sound like you'll have to give microsoft a call to issue you a new key. They are usually very helpful.
You can also extend your trial (that's basically what your running without activation) by clicking on the start menu, searching for 'cmd', right click on cmd and click run as administrator, then click continue or accept, and type in:
Hit enter. It will take a second, but your computer will reboot, and you will have another 30 days to activate. You can do this to a max of 120 days.
