    Same make, different model maybe.

Exactly the same problem, Phone not receiving, sending or ringing. Display says "Searching"

Phone says searching can't dial out or recieve calls. It does NOT matter what location of the house the phone is in. Is it possible digital phones won't work in all areas?

Why can't I answer a call on line 2?

Confirm the extension # you are working with and that the line 2 key is line 2. do this by pressing feature *0 and the pressing the intercom key, observe the display and then press line 2 key and view display. then go back in the programming and view line 2 apear&ring, change it until it is apear&ring, then release and check for working again. If this dont work check to see if line 2 is programmed as a private line.

First: you must activate Caller ID service from company that is supplied to the external phone lines

secondly: you must buy Caller ID cards for PBX

If these conditions are met Send me a message in order to explain to you how to install and programming this service

Can I change the caller ID so it shows on the first ring?

The caller ID information is sent between the first and second rings, so there's no way the receiving phone can display this data on the first ring. You have to wait for the second ring (or just before it).

Ring tone off

Press the Function key (bottom of handset, black button that says Mute but has Function underneath)
In the silver button, in the top middle of the handset, press the down arrow button twice and display shows Ringer setting.
Press the right arrow key, then use arrow up and arrow down to adjust volume level. when you're done, press the right arrow button to SAVE.

Phone doesn't ring at station

Sounds like your station (phone) is set to not ring. You need to check your ring assignment.
Feat # *
Enter password (default is 000000)
Press the soft key under "show"
Press the soft key under "next" until 1. STATION appears in the display.
Press the soft key under "show" SHOW STA:_ appears.
Enter your station number and press the show soft key
Press the "next" soft key until RING ASSIGNMENT shows on the display.
Press the "show" soft key. You will see CO LINE 1 : followed by NONE or DAY or NITE or BOTH.

If it says NONE, your phone never rings for an incoming call. If DAY or NIGHT your phone rings depending on the time of day and the time definitions for DAY and NIGHT programmed into the KEY unit. If it says BOTH, your phone should ring all the time.

If you need to change the setting, press the "chg" soft key until the desired setting comes up.
When you're done with LINE 1, press the "next" soft key to move to the next line. Repeat the process for all your active lines. Obvisously changing settings on lines with no CO connection will have no affect.

While your in the mode, check your RECEIVE ASSIGNM as well to make sure your phone is configured to receive incoming call. It was the station feature just before the RING ASSIGNMENT feature.

Hope this helps.

I wanted a mms profile found a internet page that helped. got sent a code now my phone is saying no access to network

what you need to do is get in touch with your service provider by phone or look on their website as you need to put the settings back for your network so phone would be best option.
To get mms settings either go to your providers website and send them yourself or ring them up and they can send them to you via text message witch will update your phone correctly but first ring them up and get your network settings correct so you can get signal back on your phone ok
once you get signal back post back or goto your providers website and send the correct settings to your phone.

The problem you have is you have changed something on the phone so it is searching for different network than your sim card you need to change this back so depending on your phone their is a way of doing this calling your service provider will sort this for you ok

Ill have a look for you but might not be able to get info you need as these settings are really hard to get right but i need to know what make and model is your phone
