Question about Goldstar MA-1011 Microwave Oven
My key pad seems to be stuck in the defrost mode. When I turn it off, it will start up again after a few seconds. It is only 2 years old. I have had to unplug it between uses.
You have a failed keypad.
If you (or someone you know) might want to replace it yourself, I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically involved.
For Goldstar / LG / L.G. parts, call 1-800-243-0000 (M-F, 7am-8pm CT, Sat 8-5 CT) and choose the appropriate prompt from the menu or visit here.
If you would like to have us do this for you, we do that for $39.95 plus part costs. Please feel free to contact me directly if you need more help.
We're happy to help you and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
