Oh dear. It is asking for a MAC code because it has lost everything due to you keeping the battery flat for FAR too long. I'd replace the battery first, as they should be changed every three years, and since it has been flattened beyond minimum cell voltage for so long, it will have a greatly reduced capacity. You have possibly quite a large amount of programming ahead of you, so you will need that battery to be in good shape. Do you have a backup of your old program? A good dealer will often keep a printout of all the memory allocation, key allocation, descriptor lists, machine and key features, tax tables etc. Do you have any of these backed up?
If you are unsure, then it may pay to get it seen by a dealer.
If you know enough to have a go at hardware/ soldering etc, then it is possible to get it going yourself if you want to try changing the battery.

Let me know what you decide.

New battery and still not holding charge

Not sure what kind of battery you are using in your GPS. If you can put in AA or AAA size batteries, try to use NiMH rechargeable batteries the can be bought with capacities till 2500 mA/h. (sometimes suggested 2700 on the battery) but still 2500 mA/h is very much. Do charge the batteries with a charger that is capable to charge correct. When putting a NiMH battery on an old charger for NiCd batteries, the battery never get the full capacity.
If the Battery is inside and you must go to a repair shop for replacement, please ask if they can check if the GPS is not draining to much power, because of any malfunction.

Have a ce-3700 raized keyboard the till resets and can set date and time but the departments won't work one needs to open the department so that ne can work the till how

If you have performed a RAM (MAC) clear, then the departments should work as soon as the MAC code has been set. Make sure you aren't using a decimal point for prices. -----------------------------------------------------------

Casio TE2200 stuck in INIT mode and wont let any cashier log on. I have just done a factory reset and set time, date, dept names, and cashier names. Now no-one can log on or off and it seems the till...

It sounds like you might have used the wrong clerk system in your MAC code. If you use a single clerk button on keyboard, you need clerk code set in the MAC code. If you use the clerk buttons at the top of the keyboard, you need to set clerk key in the MAC code. If you tell me the MAC code you used during the reset, I can see which system you are using.

I Have a Casio TE2000 Till and I need to change prices on the 24 buttons that are programmed already to different prices. However, to me the manual makes no sense and I can only change the first button...

to change the prices on the preset buttons.
1. turn key to PGM mode
2. press 1
3. press sub total button
4.enter price( no decimals req)
5.press relevant dept button
6.press sub total button
the new price will now be programmed in.
Hope this helps

Casio TK 2700 - No Power at the till

Hi.
It could be several things. The most common is a faulty battery. The battery should be changed (internal rechargeable) every three years. If you haven't had it changed and since you are turning it off all of the time (forcing it to use the battery often), then this could be the reason. The second most common problem is printer failure. If the printer can't turn at startup, then the machine will halt the program and seem to be dead. Make sure the printer gears can be turned by hand. The other problem I've had is a main board fault where a short circuit or overload has caused component failure on the main circuit board. Suggest you take it to a dealer for repairs. If it's not in good condition, or the print was poor then it might not be worth spending money on, as these are wearing out now.

0 THE YEAR TO DATE OUT OF THE CASIO TK-2700

Hi.
Have you had periodic reports setup on this machine? If you do daily reports, then you need to use the periodic report mode (Z2) for a yearly report. Try turning to Z2 then press 1 then CASH.
Make sure the top of the report shows 'Z2' and not 'X2'. If it shows the X then it probably hasn't been setup for periodics.

Casio tk-7000 scanning and PLU programming

I think I see what you are trying to do here
plu codes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Price_Look-Up

these plu codes are for networked tills where prices are controlled by the till server (a central list of prices used by all tills)

whereas I think you are trying to assign prioces to individual keys, and therefore you should use this guide. to program the prices to the keys

http://www.calcullus.co.nz/Manuals/Casio%20TK-xxxx.pdf

I hope this helps
