27V530T lines After several hours the picture is off horizontal frequency with good sound. It looks like B+ may be too high rendering the picture unwatchable but B+ checks pretty close. I suspect the shut down is being triggered but don't have a schematic to test.
I don't know the method of reset you are referring to. Heating and cooling the jungle IC will trigger and correct the problem. I'm not sure replacing it will fix the problem, still considering the cost, time, backorder, etc before replacing it.I don't know the method of reset you are referring to. Hello
The LOT [Line Output Transformer] of your TV has damaged. It is the one, that supply all the voltaged needed to CRT. Its internal windings will get shorted in between, and is irreparable. Replacement is the only remedy to this proble. Replace the horizontal output transistor also with this. you haven't specified whether there is picture with your tV or not. If this high frequency sound is along with picture, there is some loose in the cores of the SMPS transformer, or LOT itsef. If there is no picture at all, and this high frequency sound is there, no doubt; LOT is damaged. OK.
Hello
Line Output Transformer of your RCA tv has damaged. Never switch on the TV until this fault has retified. The transfrmer said above is called as {LOT} for short, and should be replaced with same type and number. Along with, its horizontal output transistor also shold be replaced. OK.
Something in the High voltage section had failed. The horizontal out put transistor or surrounding componets, and possibly the flyback transformer, Hope this is helpful.
You have lost horizontal drive. A lot of samsungs had modifications to there horizontal drive circuits to repair this. Another possibility is a bad High Voltage transformer. Unless you are comfortable with high voltage repair, you might want to leave this one to a pro.
I would suggest to locate a part that looks like the one on this link and re solder all the pins, also check for any high power resistor nearby the IC295890 and put some fresh solder.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Good afternoon your tv could have some lose solder have a tech look at it.the problem is in the video circuit and related circuit.checkd should be made in the IF circuit.good luck.
sound like the screen control on the flyback is set just a little too high. the flyback has the red wire attached to the tube. the flyback has 2 small adjustable controls. if you look close enough 1 is marked focus & on is screen. turn the screen slightly to the left & look at your picture. the screen is like a master brightness & if it's up too high you will see what is called retrace lines.
good luck.
sounds like you have a bad solder connection on the coil connected to the base of the horizontal o/p transistor. the flyback has the big red wire. ( do not touch, just for reference), to the left and forward a little on a heat sink will be the transistor. on the other side of the heatsink,( a little more forward), you will fond a small coil on the board ir is red & you can see the windings. locate this part on the bottom of the board & resolder this part.
good luck.
