This part is not a fast moving part so most likely not stocked by many repair shops, however when a part is discontinued there are still many new and used parts out there. Contact fastener dealers in your area for a new or used part or the whole gun used (most likely will sell cheap). Pawn shops / ebay etc, usually sell used nailers for very low price, most likely less than cost of part new if it were available. If you consider buying a used gun for parts, check into n59fn or n60fn, use same part. Good luck
Be careful, the leak may be within the trigger assembly itself. Check the link below for a pointer to a parts site that also has exploded diagrams of the gun. These diagrams will assist in parts replacement. The trigger assembly should be available for around $25.
To remove tva6 (or similar) valve on n60 you will need to use air pressure. Remove roll pin at trigger with 3mm punch. Next remove one or two roll pins just above trigger valve (also 3mm). Reduce air pressure to 20psi (or pressure needed as some valve will be stuck) and use glove or rag to catch valve as it pops out of gun. Use caution as you connect air to gun because the valve could come out with force. Clean port and check for sharp edges before installing new valve. I use silicone paste on orings (available at Lowes in plumbing department). Good luck.
You will need to replace the trigger valve, the one you need is a P/N- TVA6. As far as the driver not returning, it could be a broken head valve spring,(spring in the back cap under the head valve) or possibly a broken driver blade.
Go to the Bostitch web sit(Aust.) Look for tool break down sheet. Look up Your Nail Gun Model No. N60 FN or N60 FN2. That may have the info you need. Or try asking your nearest nail gun repair agent for the info you need.Good Luck!
There is an oring that is probably broke in half, It is referred to as a purple o ring. You can buy the whole trigger assembly but I think that just replacing the one will get you going. Let me know and I will try and help more
I have been buying Bostitch t31 parts on ebay. Rebuild kit usually about $22 - 39 depending on how luckey you are at bidding. Keep searching on Ebay for other parts for this gun as parts are not available at Bostitch.com any longer. The oring kit for the N60 is available at amazon.com. the part number is ORK1, cost under $20. You can also find bargains on ebay. When installing orings us silicone grease. It is available at lowes in the plumbing department. It looks like vaseling. It is used for lubricating orings in faucets. Good luck on your repair project.
