Your DVD drive should support UDF . try to install this software it should give your system the ability to deal with this cd
{SwiftDisc.Burning.Wizard }

i advice you not to format the media from windows , use the tool in your camera

Sony camcorder 'Movie recording disabled'

You need to finalize it in the camera, the one you used.

Then you should be able to access what little data if any on it.

If you can not get it to finalize then take both the camera and disk to a photo shop. They may be able to recover it for you.

Let us know the results. Good luck

Sony dcr-dvd105 Handycam . I want to copy several 30 min. discs onto one or two large discs. Sony has not been very helpful in supporting their product. Hope you can help.

Import your videos from the "finalised" mini disks into Windows Movie Maker on your PC and then export all the content to a DVD on your PC.
Alternatively a disk copy facility such as "Nero" can be used.
