Video output IC on either the CR, CG or CB pcb boards is most likely the problem or the A board is defective. I would try the video output on the CR, CG and CB boards first.

Toshiba 51hc85 will not show picture red power light flashes where is reset button and or fuses What else could it be

This set does not have a reset button. The flashing light means shutdown and the most common cause is a short in the Convergence circuit.

Way to prove or disprove this is someone has to get at and unsolder both chips used--usually two stk-392-110 or similar--18 pins each.

If set comes on then one chip is bad but both must be replaced.

There are resistors around the chips that fail and that triggers the shutdown. Also most of these have pico fuses that are not glass and are tied to different areas of the set--one of them goes and shutdown is the result--they are green or orange and look like a resistor but have the amperage marked on the board next to them---two of them protect the convergence circuit and are usually 3 to 5 amp---can be tested with set unpowered just like any fuse--no reading across and bad.

set may have as many as 7 of these all in or near the power supply.

Panasonic projection tv pt-53wx52c no picture red light flashing 3 times have sound

3 times red light flashing is an error code that indicates problem in convergence output section, please check and replace convergence output chips and pico fuse nearby. Chips replacement in circuit board requires soldering work and local tv repair shop will help you if you are not familiar with soldering.
Hope this will help.

Ghost on the screen, blue in color

Did you check the six 3.15 amp pico fuses on the D board in line with the resistors and the two 5 amp picos on the G board? Usually one or more of the Picos will blow especially on the G board

It will turn on sometimes and then it wont...The stand by light just flashes

First CK pico fuses around the convergence ICs big black ICs they look like resistors will be yellow or green also CK small blue capacitor behind hori out put transistor 2kv i have seen them have small burn hole on them, You may need to replace both of your STK ICs.STK394-570? Look on them they will have P/N on them. How many times does it flash before turning off? you can find out By typing in Understanding Sony Blinking Codes.

Picture looked 3d now tv wont come on. red lite flashes 6 times.

Your TV most likely a convergence failure. ( common problem )

Here are some of the most common symptoms and example photos of a convergence problem

  • Screen looks 3D
  • Colors don't line up
  • One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
  • Screen is bowed or warped.
  • TV shuts down
  • TV Chirps
Here are some photos of convergence problems.

Here is a quick test....

Using your original remote go-to the tv settings then goto the convergence section.

Try to adjust the red and then the blue convergence.

You should be able to move them up, down, left, and right.

If you can't move them in all directions your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem.

You will need to replace the convergence chips and possibly some convergence resistors and pico fuses. Its a fairly easy DIY job or you can call in a pro. If you want to do the repair yourself check the site Their kits include a photo instruction guide, original OEM Sanyo STK chips, convergence resistors, pico fuses, thermal paste, email/phone support, etc.

I am replacing the ic's stk-392-560 's and want to just replace the pico fuses and the resistors regardless. Can anyone tell me the values of them or part numbers. it is for a sony kp-51ws500. thanks

If you are doing the convergence amps, the pico fuses are about the ONLY thing that may fail, and they are located by the heat sinks...normally found on the FIN-SIDE of the sinks.

Don't worry about the resistors, unless you find them's rare they get damaged.

Unable to resolve concave issues

I am also having the same problem. I tried to replace ICs but no luck. I am also looking for service manual in case if some one can give it to me.
