Check the serial number on Nintendo's website. If that isn't an option, just read what the voltage for charging your DSi is and check that it is the same on the charger. After that just try charging your DSi with it. If it doesn't charge, it's either broken, and in that case you can send it back, or it is a fake, for which you can also send it back.
It sounds like the electrical input isn't working. Try plugging the chargers into other wall jacks. It could be that your PSP is defective, which in that case you should exchange it at the store you bought it at. Since you bought it brand new, it should still be under warranty.
Unfortunately the only way to charge the DSi is with the charging port. You can get different chargers if you lost yours, but if there is another problem, like the port broken, there really isnt a way. Hope I could help ;) thanks
If it's a big problem for you then take it apart, DON'T REMOVE ANYTHING!!! Make sure the lights are attached properly then try. If it still works fine otherwise, then don't worry about it and charge it whenever you're finished.
Well, it looks like your battery is depleted. Try going to this website for more on what to do. http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/dsi/en_na/trouble_power.jsp
