THese machines run really dirty. Has it been a while since it was last serviced? In addition to it starting slow, are the copies starting to come out light? Sounds like its getting time for a pm. How many copies are on this machine?

HOW DO I CLEAN MY KYOCERA FS-2020 ECOSYS MONOCHROME LASER 35 PPM

Cleaning the Printer

To avoid print quality problems, the interior of the printer must be

cleaned with every toner container replacement.

1 Open the top cover and MP tray.

2 Lift the developer unit together with the toner container out of the

printer.

3 Use a lint free cloth to clean dust and dirt away from the registration

roller (metal).

4 Insert the developer unit together with the toner container, back into

the machine.
5 Close the top cover and MP tray.

6 Open the left cover. Use a lint free cloth to clean dust and dirt away

from the vents.

7 Close the left cover.

8 Use a lint free cloth to clean dust and dirt away from the vent on the
right side of the machine.

I hope this is helpful,
Shawn

We have a Lanier 5618 copier. Toner must have spilled out and the copies are coming our covered with thick black lines on the entire page. How do we open the machine to clean it?

first you have to see if it happens when they get to a copy or a print. If it happens in print there is not much to clean, you have to replace worn parts. If it happens only on the copy you have mirrors Sanner dirty. (strip the screws and lifting the glass carefully cleaned the mirrors).
Hope this has helped

A/c cold on onside not the other.

sounds like a cracked vacuum line... or a bad vacuum control box getting the settings confused check there first.. (hot air from outside is being forced in on the one side because one vent is open, cold on other then when on normal when both outside vents should be open 2 arent and one is)

Lanier 6725 copier: Paper is always jamming and

I have worked for Lanier for 20 years, the 6725 was a great machine, but getting parts, spending $$$ and still having an old copier. Lanier is owned by Ricoh and all machines are Ricoh with a Lanier sticker on it. Its time.

Door leaks

This dishwasher has a vent at the bottom left of the door that blows out hot moist air during the drying cycle. Are you sure that you are not getting condensation build up from this vented air that is dripping on your floor?

Dryer still gets warm but not as hot as it used to. Takes forever to dry clothes. Clothes used to come out really warm yo hot and dry butno more.

sounds like an airflow problem. disconnect the vent behind the machine and clean it out thoroughly. it might be kinked behind the machine, be careful when you push it back to the wall as to not kink the vent hose. if possible use a straight smooth metal duct to exhaust the air to the outside of your home.

Error code Sc101

SC101 can be caused by a dirty WHITE LEADING EDGE STRIP. This is located under the left side plastic strip that holds down the exposure glass on the left side. Remove the screws, and flip over the glass holder. Clean the white strip with glass cleaner, and reassemble. If SC101 reappears, the scanner drive pulley screws are loose or broken off. A service technician is required for this repair.
