I have to shake my flashlight to get it to come on. can this be fixed

A common problem with torches and flashlights, especially led types of certain price ranges, especially those constructed of aluminium.

Most such torches use a push switch that has a point contact that soon becomes incapable of providing the perfect contact that is needed for low voltage low current applications. The materials used usually isn't the best for the job.

Aluminium casings are prone to oxidisation which is an electrical insulator.

Whether it can be fixed depends on how far it can be dismantled, the design and how handy you are.

A torch should ideally have a switch with a wiping or self-cleaning action and be hard wired with high quality nickel-plated brass or copper internal components.
It is many decades since such a torch was generally available at reasonable prices so a compromise might be made by spraying the inside of a new torch with a silicone spray or WD-40 and repeating whenever the batteries are replaced.

I need to retrieve pics from an olympus card , but a fuji camera

With a physically damaged card the only option is to send it to a data recovery specialist. But their services cost a fortune, so unless the images you wish to save are invaluable then the only "fix" is to discard the card and the images and replace it with a new one.

If there is any electrical contact showing at all then you *might* be able to cobble together a temporary fix by using electrically conductive glue (from electronics shops, not cheap) to stick a temporary contact made from a tiny cut-off piece of an aluminium drinks can (make sure that you sand all paint and varnish from both sides of the aluminium). If you have excellent soldering skills then you may be able to solder on a temporary contact, but it's difficult to do without overheating the component. Either way, the job needs to be really neat to avoid damaging the camera contacts and it's safest to use an external card reader which can be replaced cheaply and easily if the "fixed" card damages the contacts.

Panasonic PTAE900 red vertical lines have appeared constantly

Actually you have admitted that you are not handy with electrical equipment and the problem with your projector involves a little bit of soldering and a little knowledge regarding the internal layout of the components like IC's, heatsinks, etc. So I would advice you to send the projector to panasonic telling them specifically the area they need to fix, which is, to check the green & red IC's to identify whch pins have overheated and the solder has melted, causing a short. Also ask them to add spme extra aluminium to the heat sink(green & RED Ic's since they have a common heat sink). So you have to pay the service charge only since you are informing then where the problem is & its rectification. I think in this fashion you might get away by paying 75 pounds only which u have to part with if you want this item repaired, and fact is that it can be rectified, as stated above, making it the most cost effective solution.........................................sodeep

Inside top of refrigerator hot light don't turn off.

There is a service bulletin related to this, dealing with deformation / melting of the lamp cover. The fix is to change the lamp wire harness to one that now has a thermal protector incorporated in it (part number 6621JK2003B) along with changing the main PCB board to one that uses a larger relay for this function (part number 6871JB1423N).

In case you want or need to replace the following,
The lamp cover is part number 3110JA1096A and the lamp holder is part number 3034JA1009A

I tried to cut and paste a few photo's, but was unsuccessful. Sorry. Make sure to test that fans and light switches work after part changes.

Cant find the lamp location on a sony KF50WE620 WEGA TV.

The lamp comes out the front. Remove the two thumb screws on the back sides to unlock the speaker grill. It will have 3 very tough snaps also holding it on. Once you get that off you will find the lamp door. If the thumb screws are stuck tight, try using a nickel to get turning.

Ignition replacement

1)First dismantle the batteryleads to avoid electric hazard.
2)Dismantle the steering wheel by taking the centre cover of with a screwdriver carefully, and then take the wires of the centre cover to the horn, loosen the nut 24mm in the middle but dont at first take it off, then wobble, and pull the steering wheel towards your self till it loosens, then dismantle the nut and take the steering wheel off.
3)Unsrew the 2 srews in the undercover and take the upper and undercover off.
4)dismantle the 2 or 3 screws (depending on model) pointing towards you, holding the wiper and blink contacts, dismantle the electric cable connections from the contacts and then remove the contacts from the casing.
5) remove the bolt in the housing (aluminium) holding the ignitionswitch, located from down without a head, needs a hammer and a chisel, can be hard to loosen.
6) turn the key clockwise so it pulls back the slot from the steering axel.
7) remove the electrical cables from the ignition switch.
8) pull the aluminium housing toward yourself sliding it upwards
9) exchange the lock, casing and electrical bottom piece all together and insert a new bolt in the aluminium housing
10) reverse to install
