Hi have imported car to aust from nz as moved here and the kenwood KDC-6021 radio/cd code is required as in transit obviously deactivated. I have no idea what it is . can I take somewher to get re programmed.

Unfortunately Kenwood codes are only available from the Main Dealer or
by using a Radio Decoding Service who will connect a laptop to read the
working code inside your radio`s memory chip (EEPROM)
According to Kenwood's car audio FAQ, the stereo needs to be brought to a Kenwood service center to be decoded. You may run into a problem, however, as Kenwood requires a receipt or other proof of purchase in order to prove you are the rightful owner of the radio.
