You need to replace the oven glow bar take out the oven racks in the bottom of the range you will see two screws remove them remove the bottom oven pan under that is the flame spreader shield under that under it you will se the ignighter at the back of the burner bar just follow the instruct sheet with the ignighter to install and reverse just because the old bar glow-es don't mean its good just replace it

Check to see if the igniter glows white hot. The igniter needs to be glowing white hot before it will allow the valve to open and lite. Here is the part to order if you find it bad. Post back the results.

Oven won't work on gas with electric ignition stove

The glow bar for the bake burner is bad, needs to be replaced. Remove oven bottom to get to it, and also the utility drawer.

Ge Spectra

Remove the bottom of the oven you will see 2 screws in the back. once you do that there is a flame baffel on top of the burner held on my one screw. remove that. now turn the oven on and watch to see if the glow bar comes on. I would say it wont or if it dose it is to weak to open the gas valve. Replace the glow bar and you will be back in business. the glow bar is a ware item everytime theoven is on and is heating the glow bar is on . good luck
