Question about Venturer PVS177W Portable DVD Player
I bought this as a gift for my mother in law - she has since given it back because it is not working. THe screen is completely blank - I suspect it is not getting power. Is there a way to test it before I spend the money ordering/finding a new ac cord?

i had the same problem. there is a switch that gets pushed down and there is something sticking on the back of the screen. i put layers of tape on it to build it up to push it down further to fix it. can also try to stick something where the switch is but you will need to turn it off to switch discs. if you really know what you are doing you can try and take it apart and try and fix it right.
