Question about Microwave Ovens
First of all, since it's new, it's still under warranty.
If you've had it less that 30 days, I would return it to the dealer for a new one.
If it's older than 30 days, I would contact Emerson for service. Let them fix it free!

Just FYI, it's probably a bad door switch or loose door switch mount.
