Wats the best way to hook up 3 hifonic hfx12d 12s. Dvc 4ohmd to a 2 channel 2600 watt planet audio. Amp is 2 ohm stable.

Wire each sub 8 ohms(sieries) than connect them in parallel, bridged @ amp, final impedence will be 2.6 ohms.

What would be the best size amp to purchase for two audiobahn aw1200 subwoofers and two pioneer 4-way 6"x9"?

First, I would purchase the amp based on the subwoofers alone. Allow unit power to run the 6x9's unless you are planning a intricate setup. Things to think about when buying your amplifier. Always get an amp that offers an RMS output of 25-30% greater than the combined RMS output of your subs. Also, the stability of the amp to handle ohms loads (1, 2, or 4 ohm stable). If you have two dual 4 ohm subs you can get a 2 channel 2 ohms stable amp, or a monoblock 1 ohm stable amp. This will get you the most power and sound for your buck. There are so many amplifiers out there at different price levels, it's really up to you. Hope this helps.

What's the best way to hook up 2 Hifonics hdl12d4 subwoofers to a mono amp

Ok, your post has two different models listed. Let's start with something you need to know about your amplifier. Is it one ohm or two ohm stable. This will make a difference. Also, whether your subs are single voicecoil (HFI12s4) or dual voice coil (HDI12d4).

Let's start with the easy scenario. Let's say your amp is two ohm stable and you have two single voice coil subs. It's simple. You go from the positive of the amp to the positive of both subs and the negative of the amp to the negative of both subs. This will provide a 2 ohm load to the amplifier, thus pulling all the power out of it.

Unfortunatley, if you have two dual voice coil subs, you won't be as efficient. You will only have the options of a 4 ohm load or a 1 ohm load.

This is where having a one ohm stable amp would come in handy. If the amp is one ohm stable, hook the positive of the amp to all 4 of the positives on the subs, and hook the negative of the amp to all 4 negatives of the subs. This produces a 1 ohm load.

WARNING!! If you have a 2 ohm stable amp DO NOT use the last wiring scenario. It will fry your amp.

Now, the last is a little trickier. This is for two dual 4 ohm subs. Follow closely. Hook the positive of the amp to one of the positives of each sub. (do the next step to both subs) Go from the negative of the voice coil that you hooked positive from the amp is hooked to, and hook that to the positive of the unused voice coil. Then go from the negative of that voice coil and hook to the negative of the amp. Make sure this is done on both subs. This will give you a 4 ohm load.

Hope this helps

I have 1 audio bahn eternal series awes15p 15inch subwoofer.I'm having problems hooking it in my vehicle,I don't have the wiring manual.I would appreciate if you can tell me or give me a...

There are some things to think about when you install this.

1. Is the sub a dual or single voice coil?
2. What ohms are the voice coils?
3. Is your amp 2 channel or mono?
4. What are the ohms loads allowed by your amp?

I am going to assume your sub is dual 4 ohm and you want to get as much power out of your amp as you can. I am also assuming the amp is a mono channel amp. (if it's a two channel amp, you can bridge the channels)

Go from the positive of your amp and wire to both positives of the voice coils. Then go from the negative of the amp to the negative of both voice coils. You will have 2 sets of wires to your sub. This is called a parallel set up. This drops the load of one dual 4ohm sub to a 2 ohm load. The lower the resisitance, the more power is able to flow from your amp, giving your more sound. Make sure your amp is 2 ohm stable.

Hope this helps

I have two audiobahn aw1500 15" subowoofers and i was trying to figure out how to wire them so that they come to 2 ohms. I have a Kicker 400.1 amp that is 2 ohm stable.

What is their ohms at the moment. If they are 8 ohms the will become 4o hms in parallel, 4 ohms will become 2 ohms in parallel. Since your audiobahns are dual four ohms coils one speaker wired in parallel gives you 2 ohms and both wired together in parallel will give you 1 ohms. You will need to wire them in series parallel to to keep two ohms and that is a waste of power. Kickers are good amps, with a little extra cooling the amp should sustain the 1 ohm capability of your parallel connection or trade in for a 1ohm stable amp

Hi, if you wire all voice coils in parallel, you will get down to 1.5 ohms. That is the lowest you can go with these 2 subs. Just hook the amps' positive to all 4 positive speaker terminals and the amp negative to all 4 speaker negative terminals. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

I need to hook up two audiobahn A1200Q subs to a A1300hcq amp

The amplifier is only stable to 2 ohms.
Assuming the cubs are dual 4 ohm voicecoils - a 2 ohm load with 2 subs is not possible.
You can only wire up 1 dual 4 ohm voicecoil sub (both positives to amp... and both negatives to amp) to get a 2 ohm mono load.

Wiring a 10 inch dual voicecoil dub100 so its bridged the right way

yes sir. You can find out every single option for the amount of subs and the impedence. This will show you your wiring options. Plus remember when you bridge your amp you are Halving the ohm that is going to the 2 channels. SO if it is stable at 2 ohm at each channel. And you already have a 2 ohm load from your subs your amp will go into protection over and over again and eventually fry up cuz you will be putting 1 ohm load at each channel.

How bridge the 15" 800 rms speakers audiobahn

parallel wiring (if your amplifier is 1 ohm mono stable)
All positives together and all negatives together.
If your amplifier is not 1 ohm mono stable you will need a series/parallel which is a little more difficult.
