Im looking for the software to run 3400 can you help me get it

My printer Lexmark 3400 Series does not work. The printer's monitor always says, "Cover Open" while it's always closed. Can you help me with it? Thank you...

Lexmark 3470 printer will not work if you have a Windows Me system. The CD they furnish with the printer has drivers for the 3470 (you have to have drivers to make the printer work) but they will not work with the Windows Me systems And they will tell you this when you go to their site and uae their chat help, or if you call them etc. SOLUTION Go to Google search engine and type in Lexmark 3400 series printer drivers (do not put in 3470, the 3400 series drivers that you will be able to download will work on all 3400 series printers) The search will give you plenty of FREE options and sites to download the drivers you need.
SAVE the search to your favorites so you can go back there easily in case you need more info!

the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer

Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the
back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

3. Delete the Lexmark print object.
4. Reboot your pc.
5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.
6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, then try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
