after replaced of lamp with new one or used you must cheak the on screen image is smooth not a very very smooth but smooth no flashing no any abnormal view than lamp is faulty only otherwise power supply is also faulty.

Iput in new lamp 25 days ago as working good. now when i t/on tv. It comes on for about 20 sec @ then t/off for aout 20 sec. By it self. and keeps repeating on/off/on/off/on/off picture @ sound ok.

The lamp of course would be logical to suspect---the only suggestion I have as have seen this before is some of these sets if enough dust inside will do this---seen ones that would play twenty minutes and either shut off or off and on.

Seen dead ones also where dust on the fans slows them just a little-set monitors things like that===usually we take back off and set outside with a air compressor and clean all air channels out (air gets taken in from front area and exits rear).

It at worst will rule this possible solution out and at best may resolve the issue. Seen say fifty or more sets where after cleaning with air (no matter how clean the house is it may look like a dust storm when you air it out) the issue was gone.

One even had golf ball sized white spots in picture--dust inside the two month old set's light engine.

Good luck and I hope it helps as it cannot hurt.

Panasonic projection TV does not turn on.

Power LED flashes orange 1 x 5 secs. = 1 of 3 fans stopped. TEMP LED flashes 1 x 5 secs, = Temperature error. Lamp LED flashes 1 x 5 secs. = lamp ballast error. (check lamp 1st.)
Hope this helps.

Hi,
TV will show Lamp Light warning if lamp got broken or dead.
Symptoms of TV shows lamp is weak and will be replaced. Weak lamp consume more current than allowed ratings and causing activation of protection circuit that shuts off TV and TV turns on again itself, that is why no blinking red light.
Please replace lamp in your Sony KDF-E55A20 TV, lamp replacement procedure is easy and written in user manual, click Sony Support to download user manual copy, if required.

SP-LAMP-LP3E powers off in 5-20 secs after inital power on

if the new lamp doesn't have a problem, then it's not the ballast, it's just a bad bulb. especially if you didn't get it from infocus. the cheaper lamps don't last long. you get what you pay for.

Green Timer lights blinks for about 10 sec. Then Lamp light, then nothing

Definitely sounds like a power supply problem. Check with your local TV repair/service center about getting it repaired or replaced.
