The printer will blink and not print if the incorrect size label is either installed in the printer or incorrect size in the software. You must have the same size in the software as installed in the printer.

the drivers and manuals are available here (free) at brothers' website. http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public/us/us/en/dlf/download_top.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=lpql500eus save them to a usb flashdrive or cd so you can put them on the next computer. make sure you choose the correct operating system so that you get the correct software.

I am assuming that your hard disk is not actually full. I am guessing that you are running Windows 7. Click through your start menu until you can see the entry to launch your P-touch Editor. Right click on the entry and click "Properties". Click the "Compatibility" tab. Under "Privilege Level" check the box labeled "Run this program as an administrator". (You can do the same for all users of this computer by clicking the button immediately below, labeled "Change settings for all users".) Click OK, and you're done. The next time you launch the editor, you will get a message asking: "Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?" Click yes, and you should be able to edit and print your labels. Of course, all this assumes that you have sufficient privileges to actually edit permissions and run something as an administrator. Hope this helps.
