No sound device or volume turned down or muted.
Ok If youve covered those bases then reinstall the device again and this should take care of the no sound.
You might have to uninstall the device first and then reboot,
as soon as it starts up again the device wizard will kick in and find the solution,you may have to use the orginal disk or point the update wizard to you c drive for the drivers and software.
This is a small problem to fix and should solve itself quickly,
