Question about Philips 55P8341 55" Rear Projection Television
I have the sam problem as well as when the tv would turn on the picture came in concave.I read the solution below and would like to know how to locate these and to test
5 volt protection is causing the set to go into protective shutdown. Check for shorted diode 6306. Part#934038020127
or shorted capacitor 2318. or faulty voltage regulator
Phillips is a hard set to troubleshoot without the full service manual and schematics and with a good understanding of testing voltages. It may be easier to replace the LSB for your model. If you need more info on where to get a manual or LSB let me know and I will assist you.
