Question about Hoover SteamVac F5914-900 SpinScrub Upright Vacuum
Found the problem with the turbine and fixed it and it still wont work
Is the shaft on the brush block or did it break off, if it did, replace the brush block. On the top, left rear corner is a lever that moves baack or forward depending on the handle being upright or tilted back for usuage. Is it moving? If not then you have a problem there. Otherwise if the square hole doesn't move when it is turned on, and the lever is switch to the on position, then replace the turbine.

The turbine is the only way to go. ther is no way to get that part only. Your only option to find a used one is to call on other hoover dealers if the have a box of used parts that fit your model.
