Umax 2000u problem

I checked my scanner last night, it still scans 4x6 ok into paint shop pro, so
the scanner seems to be ok. The  real problem is I printed a image and enlarged
it to a
6x8. The original image on file got deleted by mistake, so now all I have is
the 6x8 print. I am trying to scan it back into Paint shop pro ver 5.01. When I
scan it it looks real grainy. In my scanner software, vistascan I was able to
just copy the 6x8  and make a duplicate , just can't get it back to a file .
Any ideas on what to do or is it best to forget it. Thanks,Gary
