Ps3 nat type 3

In order to achieve NAT 2, you are going to have to set your PS3 to a static IP address and forward ports on your router.

In order to get into your router settings, go to 192.168.0.1 OR www.routerlogin.net (the router sets up its own DNS) and putting in your username and password. If you have not set up a password, the default username and password for this router is "admin"/"password". Follow the instructions in the page I posted once you are logged into the router's webmin.

i tried that for weeks and it did not work for me you must download the 2.0 firmware from netgear save it to your desktop then go to 192.168.1.1 type in tour user name and pass word the foto wan settings under advanced settings then when you see the nat filtering tab change it from secured to open and i guarantee you that this will do it
