Question about Curtis Sylvania CD/Shower Radio/LCD Clock Personal CD Player

1 Answer

I have a Gainsborough 2000x shower that operates only by pulling the cord that leads into a seperate plstic ceiling casing. The cord will not pull or switch shower to ON any longer, therefore the shower does not work (and it's fairly new) But it hasn't tripped in the mains box so I've ruled out fuse renewal. Also, have tried to unscrew the ceiling box that the cord runs from inside and down; however the screws came out yet the bottom of the casing did not part from the top bit and I did not want to force it, so could not see inside it. Any ideas anyone please ? I'd be most grateful, lost without daily showers !

I have a gainsborough ps1600 shower. Water pressure has dropped. Doesn't help when head is removed. Can still adjust temperature but not speed/power

If the water pressure dropped at a sudden moment, it sounds more like an issue with the water pressure leading into your shower, and not a problem with the shower its self. Try seeing if other water sources in the same area of your shower have the same low water pressure issue.

Problem with lights on install of a ceiling fan/light

ok...assuming the blue wire is the second wire coming from the light switch, it should be connected seperately to the black wire leading to the light(s). so the black lead of the switch should be connected to the power wire from the ceiling box and the blue wire should be connected to the black lead that goes to the lights. it sounds like you have the light leads connected to the main power, so the light switch would be bypassed, thus not operating correctly.
all white wires should be connected together unless one is being used as a return power from the wall switch, (which is often done).
hope this helps..........................jay

No water coming out of shower

First you should check the screens st the ends of the hose to be sure they are not clogged. The shower head as well. Otherwise it could be the water control valve, solenoid or thermal cut off.
