Printer prints very light

I replace a COMPAQ A4000 ink cartaridge. When were I copy anything the result is a very light reproduce copy. What can I do. Oh, I do not have any original software, I was gooding to use it as a fax copier m,ore or less.

I have the same problem.

Download the software for your printer at the manufacturers website. Here is the link for your printers software : http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&cc=us&lang=en&dlc=en&product=216828&

Pick the version for which operating system you are using. Once you install the software you will have full control of your printer again and you can set how dark you want your copies.
