Question about Uniden TRU8885 Digital Answering Machine

I am hearing impaired and would like to change the rings from 4 to about 8.
I have hearing dog who lets me know the phone is ringing but from the time he gets up, tells me and I get up and go to answer the phone, it's always time for the message to click in.
If the machine won't go past 4 rings (which it should somewhere in the answering machine settings menu) you could always change your greeting to a message that tells the caller to wait a few more moments for you to answer, while you get to the phone....
