There is probably some water still in your ipod causing your problem.
Firstly, switch your ipod off. This can help prevent any more damage being caused.
Then, leave your ipod in a warm dry place, an airing cupboard or near a radiator (not on top!) for 6-8 hours.
After 6-8 hours try turning your ipod on to see if it is working again.
If it still isn't working turn your ipod off again.
Fill a small bowl with rice and submerge your ipod completely in it over night. It sounds a bit strange, but the rice draws out any of the remaining moisture in the ipod.
In the morning take the ipod out and get the rice out of anywhere it may have got stuck and try again.
