I dropped my in the toilet and it was working fine until about 20 minutes later the screen just went completly white. What do I do?

Water is not draining completely from the toilet line to the sewage tank. If there is a 'low/little slope' section anywhere in that drain line, solids WILL settle and collect there and cause water to back-up in the toilet drain line. Then the toilet will not flush completely or at all until the 'soft blockage' is cleared out and the drain line emptied. Al 'gravity drain' toilets require a free draining/empty drain line that allows flush water to drain unrestricted. A basement toilet has a pump that 'forces' flush water up and out with enough pressure to sometimes force out the 'soft clog.'

The flapper that stops water from entering the bowl after flushing needs adjustment. The chain is probably to short.

You should have left it dry instead of turning it on, you probably have corrosion now, find a local place that works on phones to see if they'd work on it.

If you want to try to completely dry it, put it in rice for 24 hours minimum to draw out all moisture.

I also dropped my Samsung Impression in the toilet, I immediately took the phone took the protective case off, took the battery cover off, and took the battery and my SIM card out and towel dried it as best as I could. Then I sat it on the floor next to my fan and let it dry until I got to my grandparents a little while later and I put it in a bowl of rice, completely covered the phone and battery with rice and left it sit overnight in the rice and all of the next day, so far i've had it on about 20 minutes and have had no problems with it so far, another solution is to sit it in the sun, to further dry it out. Water damage will void warranties on your phone and battery and your provider will know instantly if the damage was water related when they take your battery cover off, there is a small square sticker that when dry and hasn't touched water should be white, but as soon as it comes into contact with water it turns red, there is also one of these stickers on the battery. My stickers were red and after sitting in the rice they look like they got lighter in color considerably, I don't know if that is really possible but appearance wise it looks that way. exposing the phone into water will cause problem to your phone. a corrosion inside of your phone might occurs that's why the screen messed up. I strongly suggest that you call Samsung hotline 1-800-726-7864 to fix your problem. Their representative will create a service ticket for you to be able to send it in for repair.

yes in some cases. but since you switch on your phone without completely drying it out, some problems may arise... like, auto-shut off, no signal, no ringtone, not chraging and even worse, it might die... in cases like wet phones.. it should be dried out completely to avoid shortages on the electronic components. but anyway... try cleaning it with laquer thinner for a minute or two... this will remove the moist deposits that might have developed on the ic's..

well if your phone stills works (making and reciving calls) use it till you get a new one. i dropped mine in the toilete and and work but the screen didnt work. if you have insurance call them.

My problem is closed. Thankfully, my phone still was on warranty so it was replaced. People at the warranty place suggested that the problem might occured because I work in the data center.

Well i suggest that you take the case of your phone and have a look at your screen maybe some of the screws have gone missing or the screen has just worn itself out? . Note youll need a t6 or t7 torx screwdriver to do this , hope i helped
