To see if the problem is with your remote control, go to the receiver and use the channel up/down buttons on the receiver itself. If you can change your channels with the buttons on the receiver, the batteries in your remote control probably need to be changed.

If you can't change channels from the receiver, turn off the receiver. Then unplug it for at least 15 seconds. Plug the receiver back it and turn it on. Again, try changing channels from the receiver itself.

Tune to a channel, and while programming is playing, try tuning to the missing channel by entering the channel number on the remote control keypad to see if channels change. Do not try to select the channel from a channel list, program guide, or favorites list.

If this approach takes you to the correct channel, you need to adjust your favorites list function. Press the "guide" button on your remote. Look for a button on your remote called "fav" or "list." Press it several times and watch for an indication at the top of the guide that you are moving from "all channels" to a particular favorites list.

If you are locked on one channel only, your Channel Lock feature is likely active. Consult your owner's manual to unlock the rest of your channels. See your owner's manual for information on managing favorite channel lists and locking out channels. Enter your password, if necessary.

Television states no channels in list

Need more information on this. What kind of television? What happened previously that could have caused this problem? What channels are you referring to? Are they pre-programmed channels, user programmed channels, auto detect channels? Are you using cable, dish, or whatever? What exactly does it do when you turn it on? What buttons are you pressing on television, remote?

Dont know how to do a channel scan on my samsung 2333hd t.v

Using the Color buttons on the Remote with the Channel List.
• Red (Antenna): Switches to Air or Cable.
• Green (Zoom): Enlarges or shrinks a channel number.
• Yellow (Select): Selects multiple channel lists.
• TOOLS (Option): Displays the Add(or Delete), Add to Favorite(or Delete from Favorite),
Timer Viewing, Channel Name Edit, and Auto Program menus..

Auto Program
The TV automatically cycles through all of the available channels and stores them in memory.
In rare cases, "Auto program" may miss a few channels due to weak signals and the channels may
not be added to the channel memory.
Air
Cable
Auto

Hope this helps. I have the owners manual on file.

All channels locked out pro-2055

I hope this will help. It shows locking and unlocking ids while scanning and while in a bank.

Locking/Unlocking IDs Contents You can lock out IDs you don't want to hear such as telemetry, MDT's, dog catcher, etc. To Lock out an ID while scanning, quickly press L/OUT while the ID is displayed. To Lock or Unlock an ID manually: 1. In Manual mode select any channel of the bank you want to lock or unlock an ID in by entering the bank number and channel number (Ex: 001) then press MAN to advance to the channel. 2. Press PGM then TRUNK to put the scanner in program and trunk modes. You will see the bank number (0-9), list number (0-4), and the list status (ON or OFF) on the 1st line, the ID# in the list (0-29) on the 2nd line, the ID on the 3rd line, and bank tag on the 4th line (if programmed). 3. Press TRUNK (each time) to select the ID list (0-4). 4. Select the ID# (0-29) by pressing up.jpg or dn.jpg (or press and hold; faster) then press L/OUT to lock or unlock the ID. Channels blocked

Hello to all, go to your TV menu and go to V-chip set up, then go thru and see that you don't have any channels blocked. If you do and you are watching a show with that rating, you will receive the "protected program message".

Have a great day!

Favourite setting lost when switched off

I think it is actually Channel 7 causing the problem. I have the same TV and have noticed that Ch7 only drops off the Favourites list when 7 telecasts a program in Standard Definition (SD) on the High Definition (HD) channel 70. They usually seem to do this when broadcasting sporting events. You can check if they're broadcasting in SD on the HD channel 70 by pressing the "INFO" key (also labelled "<<", just above the "TEXT" key). The channel description will read "70 7 SD Digital" instead of "70 7 HD Digital". (You will also see this when you change to channel 70 during these times.) Every time they've done this, I've lost the 7 HD channel from my favourites list. If you re-program channel 70 into your favourites list while it's broadcasting in SD, it will disappear from the favourites list when 7 starts broadcasting a HD signal again. I think I read somewhere that this happens because channel 7 isn't really transmitting a SD-resolution (576i) program on the HD channel, but instead just redirecting your TV to the SD channel's signal (Ch 7 on the tuner) - or something like that! I haven't yet found a way to stop this from happening other than to not change to HD channel 70 when they're telecasting a SD program! I have to admit, it's annoying, but it's a minor glitch in what I believe is an otherwise outstanding TV. I intend to email Network 7 about this problem. Maybe if the problem is their fault and enough people hassle them about it, they might do something to fix it! - Mav (Australia)
