4 way button works fine, you can navigate around and play stuff, but the back button and the little green MMC button do nothing. Tried resetting with button on bottom and reformating through windows but all content is still there. How do I "blow out" all media and start from scratch? Unit is in perfect condition, might have 2 hours on it since it was bought 4 years ago. Was working fine before, with no cause to stop working.

My computer is not recognizing my iRiver pmc-120. My operating system is Vista, my Windows Media Player is version 11 and all of the Windows updates are current. (I have not been able to get an answer regarding this problem from Microsoft or iRiver.) I have tried accessing my iRiver through Windows Media Player and through My Computer files. Any Ideas?

I have three different iRiver players and am having a problem with my PMC-100. I record music from an external source on my IFP-799 and after using the File Conversion Wizard to convert the REC files to MP3 format I can play the music from my PC. I then drag the files to the desktop. I want to place these music files into my PMC-100 but cannot remember how to do this. I know this is possible as I used to do it - I have many music files in my PMC-100 from years past.
