Question about Maytag Dishwashers
Water drains out during cycles, however there is a large amount that stays in the bottom of dishwasher. I took drain hose off pump and saw no blockage. I blew through the hose to the sink drain and cleared all water and there is no blockage there.
The drain hose hangs on the side high on the dishwasher and there is no kinks. It leaves the bottom full of water in either the reg 2hr wash cyle or the 9 minute rinse cyle. Those are the only two cycles I ever use. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Change the circuit board, timer/progrsmer.
Take it out and clean contacts,
Look for burnt circuit line and solder a fine bead carefully on the circuit board, difficult. Use the pot and pan program.

Try cleaning out the air gap. The air gap is not part of the machine, and is located on your sink. If this becomes clogged, it may cause the machine to not drain properly. Also, I know you said you checked the drain hose and cleaned as far as the filter and chopper blade, but have you checked the lower filter? There is a filter located underneath the machine that should periodically be cleaned. To check this, you need to access the machine from underneath by removing the bottom vanity cover. Hope that one of these helps!

Bad pump or a kink in the drainline between the appliance and the garbage disposal. And since we're speaking of garbage disposals check to see if scum hasn't built up at the drain orfice on the dishwasher.

Most likley you have a bad control board. Can you give me anymore details of what exactly is going on with it?
Did you check the breaker and make sure there is power going to it.
