I need a new program of when shows are on the air. It seems some of them have changed times, such as The Lone Ranger. I need something to tell me when the new times are. Gail Wendover

Hi

Hold down "power" and "volume up" at the same time to do a reset. You need a 'firmware update' from the Delphi website. Also, you can call Delphi for help too.
What you need to do is simultaneously hold the VOLUME UP button as well as the MODE button. This will reset the unit.
Let us know if you have something more to know else accept the suggestion.
Thank You for contacting Fixya.com

When hitting menu fm frequency does not show on my roady xt

Can be one of two things. The freq. will not show on the menu if the cradle that the radio plugs into is faulty,or if the radio is faulty and thinks that there is something plugged into it's aux. which tells it that you don't need the FM modulator.Try a new cradle first.

Hi, them boxes are very badly designed...
You need to put something on timer then record it,
When it says "Hard drive full or not installed" it means Hard Drive empty...

I think thats the case, phone up the person who you got it off, they will tell you exactly whats wrong with it..

Anyway it needs new software, heres some info about code problem.

go to http://thechatterbox.cc and download the Chatterbox toolbar. Then Downloada program called KeyMaster on there.
For EUROVOX
Press MENU then press the Yellow button
For STARVIEW
Pres MENU then press 1570, go to Nagravision, Either enter provider number (look below) or Select your operator.
Now go to 00, Input Code into "DATA", press OK, Now go back up to 00 and press Right button, to change it to 01, Enter the 01 code in.
Provider ID is as follows,
Before Virgin Media took over, type in what ever code is next to your old supplier..
NTL - 5401
TELEWEST - 5a01
C&W - 5c01

When you find your codes of the Keymaster, you should have Key 00 and 01,
On your screen go to 00 and type the code you got of the internet,
Now do the same for 01,
The codes will change every day until new software is released.
Use the key on the bottom of your screen to type in the Letters.
Keys as of 29/11/2008 (Might have changed by the time you read this)
NTL - 00: CD 11 58 05 EE 96 E7 F3 // 01: EA B7 BF B2 D5 AA 46 AB
C&W - 00: 00 58 8D CF 27 98 04 ED // 01: 2A E0 72 B0 9E 07 9B 5D
TW - 00: 98 B0 BA 52 D3 21 08 B4 // 01: D2 EA 29 B7 B5 52 E9 AD

Just on the basis of your description I would say that the unit is faulty. It might have something to do with the overload circuits inside the amp. The remote is not great even on mine, but I use a logitech harmony 785 to control my setup so it's not really a problem.

Sirius sportster sp-tk1, always displays "acquiring signal"

Sirius does not stand behind their products, There is no out of warranty repair for their radios,  and they do not offer sites for repair. Seems  like this is a definite problem with this model. Their solution is to buy a new radio,(with all the new-docking,boombox etc) accessories. also they charge $75.00 to change to the new radio.I liked my sportster 1 because of the FM modulator. It just had to be centrally located and all the radios in my home picked it up(no docking) the new radios require $50.00 docking stations for each stereo location and radio location, unless you bring a boombox everywhere, and the sound isn't the same.    I feel there should be a class action lawsuit against Sirius for these reasons and I might look into it. What do all you think?

Power up problem

This definitely appears to be a heat issue.

I've spoken with Sanyo Service twice regarding this issue. The first time I was told that the solution was to power the unit off for 1 hour, and that it was something that could be serviced. The second time I called, when I asked what the service procedure was, I was told they don't know what causes the problem. Hmm...

In any case, I managed to get the case open. After removing the faceplate, take out the four screws in the front. Using a small screwdriver / pry tool, pop the case off at the FM out port. BE CAREFUL! The FM transmitter is soldered to the front of the case, so don't move it around too much or you'll lose that nice, strong FM transmitter. Once you locate the connection for the FM transmitter (a small wire), you can open the case such that the two halves lay next to one another.

Once inside, you'll see another metal box that contains what I believe is the main chipset (Agere). More screws here. Once you take the screws out, you can lift off the metal case. Here's where I suspect the problem lies. There is a cheap heatsink pad in here that, I suspect, over the years has degraded to the point where it no longer conducts well. I cleaned the top of the chip with IPA and put some new thermal compound inside. I have not yet removed the pad as I did not have an appropriate thickness piece of something else that I could use to replace it. I then reversed the process to put the case together.

My radio is still funny, but it seems to work better now. Since the weather is now cooler, when I have problems with it, I hold it out the window or in front of the air conditioner and it comes back after a couple of minutes. I also disabled the blue LEDs so that the heating inside the unit is minimized. It conceivable that there's a bad solder somewhere, but I didn't see anything that stood out. If I continue to have issues, I plan to go back in at somepont and remove the pad, replacing it with something else (copper foil? another pad?), but until then, I'm still in business, even if somewhat diminished capability. I've got a lifetime subscription that I'm fighting to avoid a transfer on, at least for a little while...

This is not the site for what you are looking for, you need the fta site. You can go to dss****** and search for any FTA sites, regarding the view sat. If you have anyone programming for you, you will need to take back. If you are trying to DIY then look for a FTA site that will teach you how to JTag your equipment. If im correct you may have to go inside to repair. If it does not reset then Jtag is the best option. I think dsstester or the other sites can help if you look in their forums. Hope this helps!

SIRUIUS SPORTSTER

Satellite radio antennas do tend to fail sometimes. In the early days of Sirius/XM they were made a lot better, but now I've had problems with them a lot more frequently. If the antenna is plugged in securely and it still shows the 'antenna' error code, you most likely need to replace your antenna. It is possible that something else along the antenna signal path is causing your problem - Sometimes the antenna connections in the dock or the receiver itself can cause the issue, but most likely it is the antenna.
