Do the motors feel warm-- maybe even HOT?-- Like they have electric current, but the bearings might be seizing up?
You mentioned one stopped spinning awhile ago--- and the other one was OK-
It sounds like the bearings are dry and worn on the fans-- (How old is the humidifier?)
The bearings CAN be cleaned up and lubricated, if you are into tearing a motor apart, and servicing the bearings-- Are you ready for that? You will have to remove the motors from their mounting, remove the fans, split the end bells, and clean and lubricate the bearings deep inside.
Let us know how much further you want to go-

Testimonial: "Very helpful I just need to know how to take bearing out and what to lubricate them with."
Motors are not warm or hot.
The right fan was ok until now.
I bought it about a year and a half ago. It is on constantly during winter.
I will do whatever, I just need to know how to do it.
OK-- If the motors are NOT WARM-- then possibly they have no voltage to them?
Can you trace voltages with a volt meter?
Check voltage to the wires going to the motors-- 120 volts AC?
If Yes-- then you will have to check at the junction block on the end (or sides?) of the motor-- If there, and the motor is not warm, or trying to turn, the you will have to tear into the motor, Remove the fan-- and make sure the shaft is smooth, so as to be able to slip out thru the bearings.
Remove the long bolts that hold the end bells to the motor.
Break the end bells apart, (Mark them so you get them back in exactly the same spots when re-assembling)
and check the wire junctions (where the real fine motor wires are.)
While you have it open, clean and lubricate the bearings and armature shaft.
Reassemble-- what happened?
