After reinstalling the Operating system on my dell inspiron my bluetooth stops working. How do i make this working properly? (Windows7 64 bit home permium)

Download and reinstall the bluetooth drivers.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Dell Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the Bluetooth drivers.

You can always purchase a usb bluetooth adapter that will solve the problem at Tiger Direct.

In the search box at the top of the webpage type Bluetooth USB Adapter and press GO. Sort the returned results Price Low to High.

are you talking about the inbuilt bluetooth or any usb bluetooth dongle.if it is inbuilt one then check if you have bluetooth chip installed in it! contact dell care,give your service tag number,they will say it.

When you get there Then scroll down Then where you see "Operating System", select your operating system (ex: XP, Vista, or Windows 7). It will then show all the drivers for your operating system...scroll down until you see the network driver software and then download and reinstall the Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth Module and download the Dell Wireless WLAN 1520 Half MiniCard Hopefully this will help...good luck.

I would try hold down the "FN" key, and then tap the F2 key once.

uninstall the driver and try to reinstall it .
when aks for what you said , just switch on the switch for bluetooth .

Try to download the bluetooth driver from the Dell Support website. Go to www.support.dell.com and enter the service tag, which you can find in the bottom of the computer. It will list all the available drivers. Find the bluetooth driver for the computer for the particular OS (in your case Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit), then download and install it. Restart the computer. It should be working.

Please make sure the blue tooth is switched on or not.

reinstal the driver for it and should work or check in start-my computer-right click manage-device manager -action -scan for hardware changes.

Reinstall the drivers of bluetooth module.If it will not work. Go go the dell website and download drivers.
