I have just bought a sony cybershot camera a dsc-w530 and i dont know how to install the disc that comes with it to my computer

This is the driver software and so you must load the disc on your PC and the disc will open up the files. Now select the standard installation recommended on the disc as it will prompt. When the installation is complete you can restart and then connect the camera as it will be detected as a new device and installed to your PC.
Now you can tansfer all your files to the PC and also use the utility on the program.

google the name of your webcam with the word driver at the end, for example

Micro Innovations IC200C Plus driver

Then you will have the free downloadable version of the disc. enjoy!

Hello,

You can try downloading the video directly on your PC by using the USB plug supplied when you bought your digital camera. Most of this now are plug and play so you don't have to install any driver.

Lost disc

You may have lost the disk.
But you dont need it to transfer images to a Windows computer
Windows can do this all by its self

Go to control panel/system security/system/device manager. on the top scan driver click it... if you see an icon camera with yellow sign (like this ?) click it and install update online... automatic online downloading... step by step ...
